の３つの視点をテーマから「医療」を考えたプロジェクト。これまでの医療は個人に向かっていたが、未来の医療は「社会」をみなで治療し、社会から治療されるという「社会治療」の観点が必要であるとOumaは考える。ヨーゼフ・ボイスの「社会彫刻」はすべての人をアーティストにしたが、「社会治療」はすべての人を社会を治療する医療従事者であり、同時に社会から恩恵を受ける患者にする。
2019年10月に韓国釜山のHongti Art Centerで初回発表。
HOSPITAL is a project for medical treatment in the future. I think medicare should be "Social Treatment" which is that peoplw take care of our society and society take care of people. Medicare faces to individual but it's time to think about our surroundings. Social Sculpture by Joseph Beuys, makes all of us artists. Social Treatment makes all of us health care workers and patients.
37兆個の細胞が１人の人になり、人が町をつくり、町が国を成しているように、社会は細胞の世界と相似の関係にある。私たちは社会（世界）の一部であり、１つの細胞が身体のために働いているのと同様に社会のために働き、お互いに影響し合っている。これはまるで、私たちが社会に対する医者であるかのようだ。私はこのコンセプトを体験型の展示を通じて示したい。
This society is similar to “life” like 37 trillion cells make one human body, people forms town and town forms country. We are part of society(world) and work for whole world like a cell work for body and influence each other. It seems like that we are doctor of the world. I’d like to show this concept through this experience-based exhibition.
私たちは個人に向けて医療を発展させてきたが、現代は社会（世界）に向かった治療が必要な時期ではないか。このコンセプトはヨーゼフ・ボイスの「社会彫刻」という概念を踏襲する。日本の高い自殺率は、暮らす上で現在の社会が必ずしも良いものではないということを示しているのではないだろうか。環境は私たちの生活や生命に影響を与える。それならば、私たちは自分たちを取り巻く環境が安全で快適なものであるかどうかを議論し、考えていくべきではないだろうか。
私は、私たちを取り巻く環境を薬の一種であると考える。同時に、社会は集合的な生命体であると。私たちはみな、医療従事者として社会の治療に関わっている。本プロジェクトは体験型の作品を通じ、生命とは何か、未来の医療とは何かを問いかける。
We develop medical care for individual life but it’s time to think about the whole life (society, world). This concept follows social sculpture by Joseph Beuys.Suicide rate is very high in Japan. It means that this society is not very good for living. Environment influence our life so we should think about our surroundings and discuss if our society is really comfortable and safe for us. I redefine environment is kind of medicine. Also, society is Life Accumulations. We can take part in social treatment as a medical worker. This exhibition shows what life is and the concept of medical care in the future through experience-based work.
１）What life is / 生命とはなにか
集合生命 / Life Continuous 2019
About 170×180×410cm, Acrylic on Korean and Japanese paper, 2019 / experience-based work.
和紙と韓国紙でつくられた作品シリーズの第３弾。韓国テジョンのアーティスト・イン・レジデンスTEMIで発表された時には、２種類の紙のインスタレーションは隣り合って設置されていたが、今回は重なり合うように設置された。作品は結んだり千切ったり鑑賞者が自由に遊ぶことができ、Hongtiでは訪れた人が願い事を書いていく様子が多く見られた。１人が入れる洞窟のような構造で、誰かが中から鑑賞することにより、１人分の命の連鎖を表している。
Paper installation which viewer can go into the installation and touch, tear or tie them up. Made of Korean papers and Japanese papers. This work will be explained Korean papers as Japanese paper and Japanese papers as Korean papers. This work is expression of Life and border of life.

系統樹 / Phylogenetic Tree

2017年のフィンランドから始まったオープンエンドプロジェクトで、販売による喪失と創作による増殖を繰り返している作品シリーズ。すでに一部は販売されて人の手に渡っているため、作家のOuma（オーマ）を含む誰も、作品の全体像を見る事はできない。１枚の作品は独立した１つの作品でありながら、上下左右の作品と線がつながっているため、全体として１つの集合的作品であることを表している。この構造は細胞と身体の関係とヒトと社会の関係を表している。すべての色を混ぜ合わせているため同じ色は２つとないが、Hongtiからは町の色を抽出して作品に取り入れているため、制作した地域の現実が作品により反映されるようになった。
This is continuous painting series. This work keep expanding and no ends. Some parts were sold out in Japan, Finland, China and other countries. The parts are just missing. On this work, changing and losing, consuming and creating happen in parallel. Nobody, even Ouma, artist herself can't see whole work together. Also, nobody can get all works. We can imagine who has our next part. It means that all people who have this work, add value for whole work. Cell is minimum unit of life in biology and 37 trillion cells make one human body. Each cells is unique but also they are part of whole life. Society is similar to cell’s world. This project expresses the relationship between small life (cell / person) and whole life (person / world). For this time, using town colors of Busan. Taking photos of Busan as reference and Ouma’s going to use the color combination for painting. Also, there’s no same color in this project. All colors are unique like human being.

Hongtiアートセンターの展示スペースは、一部が雨漏りをしていて、展示期間中にも雨が降ると天井から雨が漏る可能性があった。この状況を「空間の病」と考え、会場のあちこちに患者としての空間の声を張り付けた。
The whole space should be sick. He claims his suffer and condition. Viewer can see the memo of his chief complaint everywhere in Hongti Art Center. This work ask what life is.

触覚的治療薬 / Treatment with sense of touch

１日５回１分ずつ触ることを求められる体験型作品。触るお薬。用法用量を守った処方が必須。
This work is the medicine to take with sense of touch. Guests can touch this works and feel them with following prescription. Please take care of NOT to touch more than prescription. That’s overdose.
視覚的治療薬 / Treatment with sense of sight

３）Who does medical treatment / 誰が治療するのか
調剤薬局 / Dispensary
Scale, medicine paper, medicine bag, plastic bag and sweets, About 700 x 2000 x 300mm, 2019 / experience-based work.
お菓子でつくる薬。効能や処方は鑑賞者にゆだね、自身で持ち帰ったり処方した薬を別の鑑賞者のために置いて行ったりしてもらう。プラセボ効果を用いた治療薬であるとともに、医師としてお互いを処方し合うという「社会治療」を体験可能にしている。
Making our own Medicine with sweets. They can take back their own medicine like “For removing unhappy feeling” “3 times in a day” by themselves with using sweets (candies, chocolate or cookies). There’re medicines for something like “back to cat” or “see sound’s color”. Viewer can take them back to home as their prescription. Medical effect is influenced by belief, known as Placebo effect.
診察室 / Consulting Room
Chairs, cards, white coats, Studio 5 at Hongti Art Center, 2019 / experience-based work.
２つの椅子が置いてあるプライベート診察室。入口を入ってすぐのところにあるカードをめくると、「医師」か「患者」かの役割が鑑賞者に与えられる。「患者」であれば、もう一つの椅子に座る架空の医師に向かって自身の病状を訴える。「医師」であれば白衣を着て透明な患者の容態を聞く。自分の中に医師と患者の２人の役割をもたせ、自分で自分の治療にあたるという鑑賞者が自ら行うパフォーマンスアート。
There’s 2 chairs at the studio and 2 cards at studio 5. One chair is for the guest and another one is transparent person. Viewer can select one card. The card says 1. Patient 2. Doctor
If they take card 1, they can consult about their condition (health or life, whatever) to the transparent doctor. If they take card 2, they play a role as a doctor and listen to the story of a transparent patient who is sitting in front of the seat. This is very private work for one person so only one guest can see this work at the same time. This work shows doctor’s side of aspect and patient’s side. One person can see this work before he can leave, nobody can go in this consulting room.
